I just came across a new contest from Happy Mango Beads. It really sounds like fun. I am definately going to enter this one. Prizes are gift certificates to Happy Mango... and they have some reallllly yummy beads!
The contest is called 'On Second Thought'; you make a piece of jewelry, then take it apart and make something new with the same beads! Winners will be picked based on both pieces. What a cool way to stretch your imagination :)

ReplyDeleteThe contest is...a bit strange and I completely disagree with the point saying :-'completely dismantle'.Would You be keen on making a thing and then to demount it entirely?? I would never do it.I could the other beads of the kind I used previously and would make the second thing,so I would lie this way!:-) Nooo,I I guess,I am not going to take part in that contest! The rules are so strict for me:-)

ReplyDeleteHalinka, I never thought about that! I just focused on the part about making 2 different pieces with the same beads. Maybe I'll use your idea and make 2 items with exactly the same set of beads. I just thought it would be interesting to see how different they could be.
